Members of the group have forged strong links with the academic accounting community, serving as journal associate editors and reviewers. They also work closely with policy-makers and financial market practitioners. The group aims to carry out academically rigorous and impactful research. They intend to help standard setters develop high-quality accounting standards, improve how companies communicate with external investors and inform investors about using accounting information for capital allocation decisions. They pursue research in all areas of accounting, including international accounting, standard setting and non-financial reporting.
