Oxford Women in Leadership Alliance

""

This Alliance exists to create an atmosphere of inclusivity, partnership, and allyship around the women of the Saïd Business School. Through meaningful discussions and informative events, we work to challenge conventional conceptions of women in business, and further cultivate the next generation of thought leaders and role models.

Our MBA students and alumni can join as members to have access to a range of activities. Current students can also apply to join the leadership committee to drive the women's agenda during their time on the MBA programme.

‘Inspiring Women at Oxford Saїd’ is a programme of events, networking and talent development sessions designed to inspire and promote women’s professional and academic development throughout the community of students and alumnae of Saїd Business School. We want to ensure all our students have access to the best business minds in the world and encourage them to engage with our incredible line-up of events.

Oxford Africa Business Alliance

""

Created to formalise and strengthen our Africa initiative and to stimulate action in addition to generating ideas.

The Alliance provides a platform to stimulate a vigorous dialogue about business, investment and entrepreneurship in Africa. Through our students & alumni members, we are able to incorporate both practitioner and academic perspectives on how to do business on the continent and the opportunities that exist.

MBA students can join as members of the Oxford Africa Business Alliance. It is jointly led by a School and student leadership committee. Members engage in and support the many African-related activities throughout the year and continue to support our vision as alumni. As members, students work together to generate new ideas that contribute to the schedule and are connected with other African related networks and groups.

A supportive network to help your family transition into Oxford life

Families are very welcome at Saïd Business School. If you are planning to be here a while, why not bring them with you?

Many students move to Oxford with their children and spouse/partner for the duration of their degree programme. There are many resources available to help you find a place to live, choose a nursery or schooling for children and to explore funding options.

Once you arrive in Oxford we provide a supportive, stimulating environment to help make your time here enriching and memorable for you and your family. Saïd Business School organises social activities throughout the year for partners and families.

We strongly recommend keeping up to date on the most recent information on dependant visas

Oxford Saïd Alumni Network

""

Launched in 1998, the Oxford Saïd Alumni Network brings together individuals who share a common interest in business, ensuring an active network of emotionally and intellectually engaged alumni who support and further the School’s vision, and serve as proud ambassadors around the globe.

The network continues to expand and now boasts more than 27,000 members, comprised of our degree programme alumni, current post-graduate degree programme students, University of Oxford alumni interested in business and qualifying Executive Education participants.

The support and activity of our Oxford Saïd Alumni Network members contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the School – enhancing the experience for current and future students and alumni.

For a number of reasons I decided that it was time to find fresh challenges, and wanted to transfer my wide military experience into skills and language that are useful in the private sector.
