The Oxford Women in Leadership Alliance exists to create an atmosphere of inclusivity, partnership, and allyship around the women of Saïd Business School. Through meaningful discussions and informative events, we work to challenge conventional conceptions of women in business, and further cultivate the next generation of thought leaders and role models. The Alliance was created to formalise and strengthen our Women's initiative, and to stimulate action in addition to generating ideas.

Women on the Oxford MBA

Our committee

Each year, we appoint a committee made up of Oxford MBA students with a passion for addressing gender equity. The 2024/25 committee is led and supported by staff and academics within the School, including the Strategic Advisor to the Alliance, Tammy Brophy

I aspire to connect with other female leaders to advocate for systematic changes in women in business. My mission is to advocate for greater gender inclusion and empower women to embrace their traditional and new identities.

The Women's Alliance focuses on a range of activities including:

  • Mentoring programme to support female undergraduate students across Oxford University
  • Distinguished speaker events, to profile and showcase female thought-leaders
  • Networking events
  • Recruitment career sessions, to support women in their career journey
  • International Women's Day event
  • Student workshops, including building negotiation skills
