The first Oxford Future of Marketing Symposium took place in Oxford on 4 December 2017.
Marketing, technology and data analytics experts from some of the world’s leading companies convened at Saïd Business School for the event.
The symposium consisted of several panel session discussions, each focusing on a key research theme from the initiative. The panels included senior executive speakers from the initiative’s industry partners, Oxford Saïd marketing faculty, and other key Oxford speakers.
Speakers covered a range of marketing issues, including discussions around 'What is the future of purpose and meaning in marketing', 'Who is the Future Marketer', and 'Does the future of marketing lie in Artificial Intelligence?’.
This symposium will become an annual event, giving the partnership the opportunity for knowledge exchange, research discussions around ongoing research and key marketing issues.
