Oxford Saïd held its fifth Giving Day, a 36-hour community fundraiser last week, with 441 gifts from across our community raising £204,792.
The generous donations are in support of Rewley scholars, and came from 48 countries, with gifts made by alumni of all programmes, elumni, students, faculty, and staff.
Commenting on the importance of Giving Day, Kate Foley, Director of Development and Alumni Relations said: 'A huge thank you to everyone who supported Giving Day this year. Staff, faculty, and alumni came together as one community and gave generously in recognition of the vital importance of scholarships in enabling the most deserving students to take up their place at Saïd Business School.'
Launched last year for MBA and MSc Financial Economics students, the Rewley Scholarship offers awards for the most academically talented students, and from 2024 will be expanded to include Executive MBA, Diploma, and MSc Major Programme Management students. Giving Day will support the incoming cohort of Rewley Scholars, joining the School in September 2023 and January 2024.
