Module dates

The provisional programme dates for the September 2025 and January 2026 cohorts are listed on this page.

Students attend 12 core module weeks which are divided into 11 core courses and the integrative Entrepreneurship Project. In addition, students must take four elective credits.

Module one is held online, and all subsequent modules are held in Oxford apart from the two core module weeks for Global Complexity, and any international electives you have chosen.

The Global Complexity module weeks and joint elective weeks are delivered with another Executive MBA cohort.

In the first academic year you will study nine core courses including Analytics, Leadership Fundamentals, Governance and Ethics, Firms and Markets, Strategy, Accounting, Tech and Ops, Business Finance and Marketing.  In the second academic year you will study two core courses, Global Complexity, and The Oxford Leader. You will then take four electives to complete the degree, many of which will offer you the chance to mix with participants studying on the parallel Executive MBA (EMBA) cohort for that academic year. You will complete The Entrepreneurship Project across several modules within the first academic year.

You will also be offered opportunities to learn in a global context, with international core and elective courses available in a variety of locations: 

• The core Global Complexity course provides students with two opportunities to experience teaching in an international location.
• Some electives are also offered in an international location.

We will host a closing ceremony and celebration in the final week of the EMBA, giving you the opportunity to share the moment with friends and family to celebrate your achievement. 

*Please note that Sunday 21 September only is a voluntary session which includes welcome and team building and a maths review. The mandatory start date for module one is Monday 22 September.
