Profile

Simon is a member of the Entrepreneur Expert Network at Saïd Business School. 

He works with leaders and management teams become clear about their identity and purposefully create strategies and actions for sustainable impact in a world of distraction and noise. His specialises in using human-centred design in executive education to accelerate problem solving and build cultures of innovation.

He has pursued an international career working in financial services and consulting firms to align people to strategy through capability identification, assessment and, leadership and organisational development. Most recently at Standard Chartered Bank as the Group Head of Leadership and Team Effectiveness for Technology and Retail Banking. 

Prior to this he held a variety of roles in Merrill Lynch, Hewitt Associates, Korn Ferry and HSBC. This enables him to offer evocative perspectives through multiple lenses including his own cross-cultural heritage and experience working in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. 

Simon has a BA (Hons) in Management and Psychology from the University of Leeds, an MSc in Organisational Psychology from UMIST and a Certificate in Advanced Professional Practice in Gestalt Group Dynamics. He is an Associate Fellow and Chartered Occupational Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
