Matthew Conisbee

His principal work to date has been in a number of areas. Firstly, running Oxford programmes in partnership with other business schools around the world, building on his previous experience working on the School’s Executive MBA and then also, most recently, as the Oxford MBA Director, during which time he developed many modules in collaboration with top global universities and schools.​

He also led the customisation and delivery of one of the School’s most successful interventions, the Major Projects Leadership Academy. Matthew developed the design of this programme alongside faculty and associates, and in collaboration with partners such as EY and KMPG to enhance the crucial area of major projects leadership in both Australia and Hong Kong.

Matthew is also currently leading the redesign of the Skoll Centre’s global systems thinking intervention, Map the System, aiming to take systems thinking to more educational partners globally to tackle complex social and environmental issues.

Matthew spent the early part of his career in travel, working in a leadership position for an expanding tour operator. This included working on sustainable travel initiatives which ultimately led to him pursuing an MSc in Sustainability. He also enjoyed a stint working as a consultant for one of the big four professional services firms in this field.
