Profile

Mark Turner is a coach and facilitator for the Major Projects Leadership Academy. He also coaches on the Oxford MBA and Executive MBA programmes. 

 

Mark is a graduate of the Meyler Campbell 'Mastered' business coaching programme and an accredited executive coach.

Mark’s previous career was in law. He was a partner in Herbert Smith Freehills, a major international law firm, for nearly 14 years and head of the London technology practice. Mark worked with clients in the IT and e-commerce industries as well as the public sector. He led the development of the technology practice to become a market leader, acting for many well-known public and private sector organisations.

Mark has particular expertise in advising on strategic projects such as outsourcing and major systems development, which require a combination of legal, commercial and management skills. He also has considerable experience in managing professional services businesses and intelligent, talented people and teams.

Mark has wide experience of charitable organisations and projects through working with Pilotlight, where he coaches CEOs on the management and development of charitable organisations.

Mark has an MA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford.
