Profile

Kajal Batabyal is a partner within the Principal Investors and Private Equity (PIPE) practice at Boston Consulting Group.

Within PIPE, she focuses on technology capital deals. The PIPE technology capital team advises PIPE clients on investing in technology-led, technology-enabled and native companies. Kajal advises clients along the entire deal lifecycle in strategic, commercial, digital, operational and technological matters. Over 20 years, she has worked on over 100 merger and acquisition transactions for some of the world's most recognised investors and brands.

Kajal specialises in due diligence and value creation strategies for private equity deals. She advises on both buy side as well as sell side situations, covering buyouts, carveouts, bolt-ons and minority investments.

She joined Boston Consulting Group from EY-Parthenon, where she was a core member of the transaction strategy and execution practice focusing on private equity deals.

Kajal earned her MBA at Oxford Saïd and has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pune, India.
