Huy Nguyen Trieu is a lecturer on the first Fintech online programme and he teaches about innovation models in finance.
He is the CEO of The Disruptive Group, a business builder in innovation and finance, co-founder of the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship and founding Partner of the Asian SuperCharger.
Huy has navigated between start-ups and large organisations, from tech CEO to MD in international banks. He is fascinated by the changes happening around us, the impact of technology on many industries, and the changing dynamics between small and large organisations.
He started his career as an entrepreneur and co-founded Ukibi, a precursor of Linkedin. After 5 intense years, he fell by coincidence into banking and was fortunate to be an entrepreneur in international banks where he helped to build high growth businesses, with his last position as Head of Insurance Structuring at Citi in London.
Huy writes Disruptive Finance, is a member of ESMA’s CWG for financial innovation, and a board advisor to Expon Capital.
He is a frequent keynote speaker in Europe and Asia, likes to teach and share with students and entrepreneurs, and is regularly quoted in articles on innovation and finance.
Huy is a graduate of MIT (US), École Polytechnique (France) and ENPC (France).
