Geoff Skingsley

His career in business started as a marketer for Procter & Gamble in the UK. In 1986 he moved to L'Oréal where he spent the next 37 years in a variety of countries and management positions.

After a spell as Marketing Director in the UK, he was a general manager in the Netherlands, before moving to India in 1994 to open up this key market for L'Oréal. In 1999 he was appointed Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, before moving to the Paris headquarters in 2004. He joined the Executive Board as Vice President for Human Resources, a post he held for six years, before becoming Vice President for the Middle East and Africa zone. Returning to the UK in 2016, Geoff became Chairman of L'Oréal UK, a post he held until retirement in 2023.

Geoff has also held board positions as a non-executive with the Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) Foundation, with VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) International and with the UK National Health Service.
