Profile

Emmet co-founded iRise with a vision to transform how business and IT stakeholders communicate about requirements for custom and packaged business software projects.

In the early 1990s, Emmet set himself two goals: start a software company that would achieve $1 billion in revenue and start a Formula One team. In 1998, Emmet and Maurice Martin co-founded iRise.

Emmet and Maurice invented the market for 'Software Visualisation' and have built iRise into the world's leading provider of enterprise visualisation for business software. Over the last 25 years, Emmet has applied his philosophy of 'the network is the business' to become one of the most well-connected CEOs in the software industry. As CEO and Co-Founder, Emmet has leveraged his network to around $60 million in investment funding and drives leadership of sales, marketing, and business development at iRise. Earlier in his career, Emmet earned over 15 national sales awards, including being named 'National Top Performer' by NetDynamics, Auspex Systems, Diasonics, and Minolta.

In 2005, Emmet founded the 'iRise Executive Roundtable Series' with a vision to deliver world-class thought leadership and networking with no selling. This has since been attended by thousands of business and IT leaders from global companies. Emmet is also a Venture Advisor at Insight Venture Partners, a Resident Expert at Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, an Advisory Council Member at DocuSign, on the Advisory Board at UST Global and a Founding Board Member of the Corporate Coalition at Peace One Day.

Finally, Emmet is a Board Director and Co-Owner of the Campos Racing team which competes for the F4, F3, GP3, GP2, Formula E and WTCC championships. He also advises several Formula 1 and Formula E racing teams on sponsor acquisition.
