He is passionate about helping large global companies cross the digital chasm by delivering market insights from the firm’s investment process and global awareness of transformative software technologies that are core to digital business growth. 

Emmet brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur to advise portfolio CEOs on sales, marketing and business development growth strategies. He serves as Board Director at Laminar, Pollinate, Devo, Tricentis and Resolve, Board Observer at A.Team, Transmit Security, Armis, Noname Security and Anjuna and a Growth Advisor at Diligent and many others within the Insight Partners portfolio.

An entrepreneur at the core, Emmet co-founded iRise in 1998 with a vision to dramatically accelerate digital software delivery by transforming how business and IT stakeholders communicate about requirements for complex business software. iRise invented the market for 'Collaborative Visualisation', was a pioneer of the low code/no code movement and established more than 1,000 customers worldwide. Throughout the course of his career, Emmet has developed a massive personal ecosystem and nurtures relationships with thousands of C-level executives at global companies and entrepreneurs around the world.

On a personal level, Emmet is passionate about wellbeing, international peace and sustainability. He is chairman a co-founder of The Contentment Foundation, a non-profit organisation with a vision to provide a sustainable wellbeing curriculum to one billion teachers, children, families and employees around the globe. Emmet is also a strategic advisor to Peace One Day and a board trustee at the Royal Society Southeast Asia Rain Forest Research Programme (SEARRP)

In recognition for his work with large global companies on digital change and personal non-profit commitment to The Contentment Foundation, the Lord Mayor of the City of London bestowed upon Emmet the Freedom of the City of London. Emmet holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley.
