Profile

Allyson is an internationally recognised business advisor, author, broadcaster, speaker and educator. Her expertise in the fields of international marketing and inter-cultural working is sought by household brands growing their markets around the world. 

A Californian based in Europe for over 30 years, Allyson lends her extensive international consulting experience, languages and MBA education to custom programmes at the School. She is also the first ever two-time winner of the European Foundation for Management Development’s Excellence in Practice Award.

Following her early career with blue-chip consulting firms PwC, PA Consulting Group and Hay Management Consultants, Allyson now advises executives and Boards of Directors in the professional services, food and drink, travel, consumer goods and industrial sectors.

Her work with clients enables them to lead and manage across cultures, and to achieve their marketing and business development strategies through successful strategic alliances, joint ventures, organic growth and/or acquisitions.

Allyson is a frequent keynote speaker at conferences on a variety of global marketing trends and developments. As a commentator, Allyson was the Muse of Marketing on Sky News for four years. She has also appeared in several successive seasons of The Apprentice (BBC) and as an expert for CNN, ITV, the Financial Times and other media outlets.

 

 

Research/publications

Allyson is co-author of the best-selling book Working with Americans, the first business manual exclusively about the US business culture. She has also served as a contributing author for The FT Handbook of Management, Win New Business, as well as authoring Marketing in the USA for the UK Government’s Department of Trade and Investment.
