Profile

Alison is a consultant and coach to professional service firms, focusing on organisational change, people development, and authentic leadership.

She works collaboratively with leaders to bring her experience of organisational and personal transformation to their individual culture and context.

At Saïd Business School, Alison has directed leadership programmes for BearingPoint as well as other global law firms. She is the subject-matter expert on building skilful relationships for the Freshfields digital programme. 

In 2016, Alison founded Open Consulting. Her clients are predominantly business leaders seeking to improve their leadership capabilities, accelerate organisational change, and develop strong, sustainable and successful cultures. Her approach focuses on the three dimensions of individual, team and organisations.

She has also developed and delivers programmes on gender diversity, growth mindset, transformational meetings, and creating a culture based on independent thinking.

Previously, Alison created and led the highly regarded people development function at global law firm Hogan Lovells, where she designed and delivered award-winning leadership programmes for partners and high-potential lawyers. 

Alison has an MSc in People and Organisational Development from the Roffey Park Institute, focusing on leadership and dialogue in organisations. She is an accredited coach and is qualified in a range of psychometric instruments. She is also a qualified Thinking Environment® practitioner.
