Programme participants being interviewed on campus taking about the Oxford Scenarios Programme, interspersed with footage from the Oxford campus and in the classrooms. Helen Joiner, Head of Scenario Planning at North Sea Transition Authority and programme participant - Oxford Scenarios programme is aimed at those individuals that are looking to think about how their organisation might look in the future. Andrew Smith, Senior Strategy Manager at Aviva and programme participant - The course itself is quite unique. It's not a course that's taught anywhere else. Pedro Langre, CEO of c-Growth at the Institute of Centred Growth and programme participant - It forces you to go beyond your normal way of thinking. So I think in that sense, what we are gonna, we're getting out of this programme is going back and just replicate that mindset with our clients and with our customers. Helen Joiner - This is scenario planning, but with a purpose and a use for an organisation. Andrew Smith - I've been really impressed with the staff here. I mean, the level of expertise and knowledge they have is second to none. Sara Courtenay, Senior Strategy Advisor at Shell and programme participant - I've really enjoyed the fact that there's a balance of lectures from esteemed industry professionals and professors from the university, but also there's a real chance to learn from your colleagues and there's a balance between lectures of content and group activities that really enable you to interact. Andrew Smith - Everybody's got very, very different backgrounds, different skills that come from different companies, and because of that you are accepted for who you are. It's not about where you've come from. Helen Joiner - The premise of Scenario Planning is diversity of thought, diversity of experience and expertise, diversity of culture. All of those elements really lend themselves to scenario planning. Pedro Langre - Since we have so many different nationalities, 18, to be specific, with so many different industries and age groups, you tend to learn from different, from different directions. I've never expected this to be as open in that regard. Andrew Smith - The power of the network and understanding that network of individuals. I've worked this week with lots of people who I don't, who I didn't know before I joined the course, and actually I'm very, very keen to engage with them afterwards. We now have shared experience. We now have shared knowledge that lots of people don't have and I think there's power in that. I think there's something quite interesting about sharing your ideas and sharing how you work. Fabia de Carvalho, Economist at the International Monetary Fund and programme participant - On a personal level, these connections are going to be important. There are people here who I really want to continue to be connected with. Sebastian Petric, Head of FX Research & Senior Investment Strategist at LGT Private Banking and programme participant - After this programme, you certainly feel like an alumni from the University of Oxford. It helps you to be connected to the university. It helps you to be connected to your fellow students and it helps you to be connected to the research. Fabia de Carvalho - I wasn't expecting so much interaction with people from so many different industries and here you really learn like by doing, but also by reflecting on issues that are really relevant for strategy. Helen Joiner - You're getting the experience of what it would be like to be at Oxford University, particularly the college dinner. That was a real, you know, highlight of understanding the history to where it is now and just getting to a small snippet of it has been, has been really interesting. Sara Courtenay - I always come to Oxford expecting to have my mind really stretched and I think the thing that surprised me most this time was that I've come away with a feeling of confidence that I can take what I've learned and really apply it in my day job. Sebastian Petric - I can simply tell you, please apply to it. It'll revolutionise your life.
