Participants being interviewed on campus at Egrove Park after being awarded scholarships for, and then attending, the Oxford Advanced Management Leadership Programme, interspersed with footage from the classroom and across the Egrove Park campus in Oxford. Candice Goh, Oxford Advanced Management Leadership Programme scholar - I was searching for a platform for me to rediscover myself and to learn more about how I can advance my leadership role. So this programme for accomplished leaders who want to be able to break through and become a greater version of themselves. Felicia (Phuong) Pham, Oxford Advanced Management Leadership Programme scholar - We are all gathered from many of the country around the world. We have different background, different cultures, different languages, and when we come here we can see, other people have the same problems as ours. We share with each other, we listen with each other, we empathise about the problem with each other. They're all very brilliant people and I feel like the bond can be so strong. We treat each other as a family. Candice Goh - It's not just about me absorbing the course content and all that, but it's the overall experience. So I believe that is truly the power of this programme. That we come in as a strong leaders, but we leave as transformed leaders. Felicia (Phuong) Pham - The scholarship is so important because it is the recognitions from the Oxford University to value us because of ourself, because of our abilities, and because of our achievement. Candice Goh - The past participation has been a lot more men than women. I think it is a known fact that there are few woman leadership people around the world, so it's important to support and also encourage women in leadership to further advance themselves. I am really happy to know that this scholarship especially to encourage more women leaders to participate in this programme. Felicia (Phuong) Pham - They value our voices and it also show that it is the acknowledgement from the outside, from the international community to treat women, not because of the prejudice, not because of the inequality, just because of her ability. Candice Goh - I was actually researching for various programmes in different universities in US, UK, Singapore, and other countries. When I went to the website, I was truly inspired by how the course is structured. It's about developing yourself as a total leader. And I like the prism analogy whereby you don't just reflect one side, but also you reflect and reflect again. When a light shine into the prism, you actually open up. Felicia (Phuong) Pham - My advice to anyone who would like to apply for this course next year is to be bold and to move forward. Candice Goh - If you are thinking and if you're at a crossroad of your life where you think what's next for you as a leader, join the Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Programme.
