Developing talent in Africa
Saïd Business School is an enthusiastic advocate for greater levels of investment in talent from across Africa.
We are strongly committed to increasing the number of students who come from the African continent to 10% of each MBA cohort by 2018, and would welcome your support in identifying potential candidates.
We recognise that funding can be an economic barrier to attending Oxford, and are working with individuals and organisations who, like us, want to create positive opportunities for future African leaders. The School is actively seeking new scholarships that will allow more African students to join our MBA programme.
Our broader aim is to expand the curriculum and faculty, to reflect the importance and relevance of business in Africa. It is crucial that we hire permanent members of staff, who, over time, can build up a significant body of research and, through ongoing teaching and mentorship, help African students to develop their skills and experience in the business world.
Help us to equip the next generation of African entrepreneurs with the resources and support they need to fulfil their potential as business leaders.
