Ali Gümüsay (DPhil in Management Research) has been announced as one of the ‘Top 99 Foreign Policy Leaders Under 33’ by The Diplomatic Courier and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. The profiles of the “99 Under 33” offer insight into the creativity, determination, and passion of the young people who are already tackling the world's critical global challenges.
Ali was named in the Catalyst category – a field not typically associated with foreign policy who has had an impact on international affairs. He is Founder and Chairman of the Social Incubator Zahnräder Network, and Member of the Think Tank 30, Club of Rome.
On hearing of the nomination Ali said: “I feel very honoured to have been selected and hope that my research and work contributes to sustainable social change. Oxford, and Saïd Business School in particular provide magnificent ecosystem in which to generate ideas that shape society.”
Ali is doctoral scholar at the Novak Druce Centre for Professional Service Firms, where his current research on the intersection of religion and organisations intends to contribute to theory enhancement in institutional theory as well as policy and practice considerations on the role of religion in management, strategy and innovation, organisational responses, practices and processes.
