Work-life balance 

Annual leave: We offer a generous holiday allowance of 38 days’ holiday per year, (including public holidays), pro-rata if you’re part-time. This increases after 5 years.

Finance

Salary: Our salary structure is nationally negotiated and includes automatic annual increments until you reach the maximum point of the service scale for the grade of your post.
Reward and Recognition Schemes: Annual schemes recognise contributions over and above your normal responsibilities and reward employees who have performed well in all the key areas of their jobs.
Pension: Every member of staff has access to a generous salary-related pension scheme based on employee and employer contributions.

Maternity, paternity and adoption leave: We have schemes in operation which are significantly in excess of statutory entitlements.

Wellbeing

Employee Assistant Programme (EAP):  EAP provides staff and their immediate family with free and confidential information and counselling services on personal issues. The service is provided by an external organisation which operates a helpline 24 hours a day.
Sports facilities: Tennis Court, Squash Courts, Gym & Sauna are available at Egrove Park. We also offer discounted memberships at selected local leisure centres.
Dining facilities: Our excellent catering facilities provide a high standard of food, including healthy eating and vegetarian options.

Learning & development

Staff workshops: We have an array of soft and hard-skills workshops available to all staff and managers. On average, we run 8 staff workshops a month.
Oxford Learning Institute: Provide a variety courses for free, including courses on leadership & management, personal development and programmes for women and newcomers.
Staff learning scheme: A framework to assist employees to apply for internal funding for personal training.
Lynda.com: Staff receive free, unlimited access to Lynda.com online training portal.

University access

Access to colleges: University employees plus 1 guest may visit the 45 Oxford University colleges for free, with University Card.
Bodleian Library: Access to the Bodleian Library and the other Oxford University Library Services, with University Card.
Botanic Gardens: University employees are able to visit the University of Oxford Botanic Garden free of charge, on production of a University staff card.
