Class gifts

History of giving

Class gifts are a relatively new idea in the UK having originated in the United States. In the past our students have recognised a memorable event, celebrated the end of their studies or wanted to give something back to their community by coming together to make a gift. The first gift made by a class here was initiated by the MBA class of 1997 and we are delighted that our students continue to support our community in this way.

Lifelong legacy

These type of gifts play a vital role in introducing our students to philanthropy and we know that it encourages many to get  in to the habit of giving throughout their career. This early commitment to support our work is very fulfilling and often translates into support for our Alumni Annual Fund after graduation.

The class initiative is entirely student-led, and we are incredibly grateful for the vision, energy and commitment demonstrated by every class.
