2022-23 MBA Class

Max de Werd

Hertford College

Max is a quantitative finance professional with over six years' experience in the development of systematic investment strategies for a global hedge fund, Citadel. The Rewley Scholarship will help him to strengthen his business and leadership skills which are needed to shape the future of asset management.

Clorisa Gagnon Griffiths

Green Templeton College
United States

Clorisa has focused on supply chain throughout her undergraduate and professional career, inspired by her experience in the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami. She is also passionate about inclusion, having led initiatives for over 1,400 US Deloitte consultants, and spending time with her spouse and children.

Tanishq Gupta

Keble College

Tanishq is driven to solve challenging problems through tech-enabled business ventures. He has worked as a management consultant at EY Singapore, focusing on strategy and transformation for global banks, investors, and start-ups. He holds a BEng. (first class honours and scholar) from NTU Singapore.

Tarini Luniya

Green Templeton College

As a management consultant, Tarini has advised global corporates and programs, from India's leading life insurer to USAID's sanitation mission in Uganda. She chose the Oxford MBA to build on her purpose to create lasting social impact through the power of business.

James Naisbitt

Kellogg College

James, Hydrographic Party Chief, joins us after eight years in subsea construction. His projects have ranged from oilfield development to testing aerospace navigation systems in locations across Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania. He aims to use the Oxford MBA to enter consulting in the energy space.

Aditi Phadnis

Linacre College

An impact sector enthusiast, Aditi has worked extensively in the financial services and impact consulting sectors. Aditi believes in investing and consulting as strong levers for impact at scale. She hopes to gain exposure and build herself as a global leader in the impact space at Oxford.

Komar Subramanian

Hertford College

When he was not wrangling spitting cobras as a wildlife rescue volunteer, Komar led due diligence into fixed income investments across Asia. During the Oxford MBA, Komar looks forward to the lively discussion with his peers on how to achieve both corporate objectives and positive social outcomes.

John Xu

Kellogg College
United States

With a real estate and investment management background, John is pursuing his MBA from Oxford to build strong networks and gain the hard skills to solve complex business problems by developing strategies and solutions. In his free time, he enjoys playing football.

Muhammad Ibrahim

Exeter College

With a finance and computer science combination in his BSc, Ibrahim chose the Oxford MFE because of its exposure to a wide variety of financial careers. He is eager to interact with the diverse cohort and partake in the MFE masterclasses to prepare for a career in capital markets.
