Oxford Initiative for Inspiring Entrepreneurial Diversity (OXIFIED)
The OXIFIED project
Oxford Initiative for Inspiring Entrepreneurial Diversity (OXIFIED) aims to catalyse racial and gender equity, diversity and inclusion in the Oxford social entrepreneurship ecosystem through education, public engagement and research. During the 2022-23 academic year, we will be working with partners across the Oxford ecosystem to share best practice for building equitable, diverse and inclusive ventures.
Many thanks to the Oxford equality and diversity unit for supporting the OXIFIED project.
Equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) clinics
We offer free one-to-one EDI Clinics to social ventures committed to integrating EDI into their business models, operations and/or missions.
We have offered free one-to-one clinics to social ventures committed to integrating EDI into their business models, operations and/or missions. These have offered tailored expert support for social ventures at any stage, to help founders or intrapreneurs adapt to build more equitable, representative, and inclusive organisations.
We are not currently offering these clinics, but will update this website if that changes in future.
The OXIFIED Un-conference 2022
In May 2022 we held an ‘un-conference’ to convene the rich and diverse community that is promoting best practice in equity, diversity, and inclusion in social entrepreneurship in Oxford. We explored this through insights from OXIFIED’s work this year, as well as the work they do every day, building diverse, equitable and inclusive teams and supply chains, serving underrepresented communities, and/or creating goods and services to promote a more equitable city. This video highlights some of this important work, and insights from the day. You can watch individual interviews with members of the community below.
