Applications are invited for the position of Research Fellow at Saïd Business School. The Research Fellow will join the Ford Foundation research group working on The Oxford Said Ownership Project. Led by Dean Professor Peter Tufano and Professor Colin Mayer, and funded by the Ford Foundation, Saïd Business School is conducting research on fundamental questions about the significance of ownership to the achievement of purposeful companies with a positive impact.
The postholder will be a member of the Ford Foundation research group, with responsibility for their own research project within a discrete area as well as working alongside a wider research programme. Responsibilities will include conducting individual research as well as analysing detailed and complex quantitative data from a variety of sources. The postholder will also be responsible for writing research articles at a high level for peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and reviews as well as presenting papers at national conferences, and leading seminars to disseminate research findings.
To be considered for this role you will hold a relevant doctorate in economics or management studies or a related discipline, have a publication record commensurate with experience, familiarity with the existing literature and research in the field, and have an excellent understanding of quantitative research methods.
This is a full-time post (part-time appointments will also will be considered).
