Recruitment Manager – Executive Degree Programmes
Grade 8: £40,792 - £48,677 with discretionary range to £53,174 p.a.
The University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School seeks a Recruitment Manager to join the Executive Degrees Team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Recruitment Manager is part of a team responsible for providing a strong pipeline of applicants for Oxford Saïd’s Executive MBA and associated Executive Degree programmes. The Manager is expected to procure and oversee the delivery of an income of at least £2.5m p.a. by recruiting applicants for two intakes of the Executive MBA programme per year. This individual will be required to build and maintain excellent relationships with senior professionals and thrive in a target-led environment.
The Oxford Executive MBA is a flagship degree programme offered by the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School and is consistently ranked in the top global business education programmes (EMBA FT Ranking 2017 - 1st in UK and 4th in World for a single school). The Recruitment Manager will play an instrumental role in attracting the highest-quality of individuals to apply for the Oxford EMBA and will ensure each applicant receives timely and clear advice to support them through the application process.
This individual will play a key role in translating the complex elements of the Executive MBA programme to audiences worldwide through telephone, email and personal interaction. As such, the ideal candidate will have very good written and oral communication skills and an ability to build strong networks with a range of individuals. With a focus on excellent client delivery, the Recruitment Manager will be charged with proactively engaging with prospective students and must demonstrate superb stakeholder management skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with the colleagues across multiple departments to achieve recruitment targets within specified timelines and to budget. This individual will also be able to work independently, to put in place their own recruitment strategy and to design innovative opportunities in order to attract high-quality students to the School. The ability to multi-task and a proactive and flexible approach is a must.
