Mark Redman

Global Head of Private Equity - OMERS Private Equity

Mark joined OMERS Private Equity, which manages C$14.2b of Canadian pension fund OMERS C$97B of net assets, as Head of Europe in 2009. Since establishing the London office, Mark led the development of a direct investment capacity for Private Equity in Europe; successfully completing six transactions including V.Group ($520M), Lifeways (£207M), Civica (£390M), Vue (£1B) and ERM ($1.7B). Mark is currently a board member of Vue (cinema operator).  In 2015, Mark took on the role of Global Head of Private Equity for OMERS. In 2018, Mark’s responsibilities were augmented further after OMERS Growth Equity and OMERS Ventures, representing the innovation arm of OMERS private investments, formally joined the Private Equity business.

Jack Edmonson

Deputy Chief Investment Officer - Oxford University Endowment Fund

Jack works across geographies and asset classes making investments for the long-term growth of the University's capital. Prior to Oxford he worked in investments at Merrill Lynch and Exponent Private Equity, in consulting at McKinsey & Company and completed his MBA at Oxford.

Chris is recognised internationally as one of the top attorneys in the area of private investment fund management. In addition to fund formation, Chris advises on succession planning, key person events,, spin-outs, strategic investments in fund management companies, co-investments, secondary transactions and internal manager operations. 

Chris Sullivan

Partner - Clifford Change

Chris advises private equity and other financial sponsors on cross-border multi-sector M&A, and portfolio companies on corporate matters including acquisitions, disposals and management equity arrangements. He is also a graduate of St Anne's College, Oxford.

Patrick Healy

Patrick joined Hellman & Friedman in 1994 and leads the firm's London office and European activites. He is a member of the Investment Committee, and Chairman of the Compensation Committee. He is currently a Director of Nets, Verisure (securitas Direct), and TeamSystem. His previous investment activities include Allfunds, Axel Springer, Digitas, DoubleClick, Formula One, Gartmore, Mondrian, Nasdaq, Nielsen, PowerBar, ProSieben, Scout24, VoiceStream Wireless, Wood Mackenzie, and Young & Rubicam. 

Chris Woodhouse

Chief Executive - Tilney Group

Tilney is a private equity backed financial planning and investment management business. As CEO, it is the latest executive role held by Chris in private equity portfolio companies with previous ones including RAC, Debenhams, Halfords, and Homebase. He has also been Chairman of the Gondola Group, a market leader in the UK dining sector, operating Pizza Express, Zizzi and ASK, employing over 15,000 people. 

Rob Lucas

Managing Partner - CVC

Rob is the Co-Chairman of CVC's Private Equity Board for all of Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. He also directly leads CVC's private equity business in London and oversees sports, entertainment and media investing globally and financial services with Europe. Rob has been with CVC for 20 years, having spent his early career with 3i and graduating from Imperial College, London. 

David Easton

Director of Direct Investment - CDC

David has a focus on the health, education and food sectors and has led CDC's investments into Rainbow Hospitals, Feronia, Bridge International Academis and Jabond. He was previously with Bridge Ventures, the leading mission-driven investment firm. David also co-founded and was Director of Strategy for the Tony Blair Africe Governance Initiative, a non-profit working to improve government effectiveness and private sector development in post-conflict countires including Sierra Leone, Rwanda and Liberia.
