About the programme
What does effective leadership look like, and how do you adapt the theory into practical changes in your approach?
This programme helps leaders from multiple sectors to answer this complex question, and empowers them to drive change within their organisations. By examining personal motivation and purpose, and aligning with the purpose of the organisation, participants will be equipped to successfully navigate the challenges and dynamics of leadership.
Delivered in partnership with online learning provider, GetSmarter, you will be part of a community learning together through a dedicated Online Campus.

The thinking behind the programme
The challenges of leadership continually shift and grow with the dynamics of the wider world, yet fundamental aspects of the leader can be both studied and adapted to specific contexts.
Our programme was created to combine theory and functional practice. It is centred around aligning leadership purpose with the strategic purpose of the organisation.
Participants will engage in reflective learning, examining core leadership themes including: power and influence, motivation, authenticity and adaptability, change, complexity, and diversity.
Oxford’s unique collection of leadership thinking is developed through several models which have been both created, and adapted, for this programme including:
- The Oxford Leadership Framework
- The Morris model
- The S3 model
- The Power of Doubt Framework
Arijit Paul, Head of Global Resources (Assets) at Schlumberger, provides an insight into the programme and the benefits of online learning through his personal highlights and key moments.
