Oxford AI Ethics, Regulation and Compliance Programme

Develop strategies for responsible AI deployment

  • Start dates: 19 February 2025
  • Duration: 3 weeks
  • Location: Online
  • Cost: £1,500

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a transformative force across industries. Its ability to process vast amounts of data, recognise patterns and make rapid decisions has led to incredible efficiencies in areas such as healthcare, finance and manufacturing.

However, generative AI introduces significant reputational, legal and regulatory risks. Global regulators are developing frameworks to protect fundamental rights like privacy and non-discrimination while fostering innovation.

This cutting-edge programme delves into AI ethics, regulation and compliance, focusing on generative AI. You will be equipped with tools and frameworks to operate safe and ethical AI systems as you explore ethical and legal challenges while analysing real-world case studies.

AI's potential is universal, undisputed and affects all professions, impacting privacy, non-discrimination, inclusion and IP rights. This course uniquely blends ethics with regulations, providing practical knowledge and tools to meet new EU mandates.

Professor Matthias Holweg

Programme Director and American Standard Companies Professor of Operations Management
