Oxford Impact Investing Programme
Our aim is to provide leaders from finance, social enterprises, NGOs and philanthropic foundations with the knowledge and skills to develop investments to tackle complex social and environmental problems.
Gayle Peterson, Programme Director, Oxford Impact Investing Programme
The programme provides a unique opportunity to develop a deep and broad understanding of the sector. We debate workable solutions to complex endemic problems, discuss innovative impact investments from around the world, and develop impact measurement tools.
We draw on the latest reseach conducted through the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship by Professor Alex Nicholls, our Academic Director. His research covers the broader areas of social entrepreneurship, social innovation and social finance which encompasses the inspirational field of impact investing. Alex released the first comprehensive book on Social Finance and this up-to-date research is used as the basis for all the key sessions he delivers on the programme.
Our Impact Investing Programme has been offered since 2013. On completion of our programme you will become a member of our social impact alumni network, a globally diverse group of 289 industry pioneers representing 57 nationalities and 58 work countries across all 7 continents.
