Awards and scholarships

Saïd Business School and the University of Oxford have a number of scholarships available for students accepted onto the EMBA programme. The information on this page relates to the September 2017 and January 2018 intakes for the programme. Scholarship information for the September 2018 intake will be added to this page once the admissions process opens for that intake.

Scholarships for women

Two scholarships are available for exceptional female candidates at each intake of the EMBA programme. All female applicants who submit a complete application by 11 September 2017 for the January 2018 cohort will automatically be considered for these scholarships.

The Forté Foundation Fellowships for Women
Saïd Business School is a proud member of the Forté Foundation, a non-profit consortium of major corporations and top business schools working together to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women.

The scholarship provides £15,000 towards the programme fee.

The Oxford Executive MBA Scholarship for Women in association with the 30% Club
This scholarship is awarded to outstanding female candidates based on the breadth and depth of work experience as well as past academic/professional qualification performance. The aim of the scholarship, in association with the 30% Club, is to support female candidates of merit and to encourage an increase in women considering senior leadership roles.

The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition portion of the programme fee.

EMBA Director's Scholarships

Up to five scholarships are available across the two intakes of the EMBA programme. All are partial awards, covering a portion of the programme fee. The size of the award will vary according to each scholar’s circumstances.

This scholarship requires a separate application, full details of which can be found on our EMBA Director’s Scholarships information sheet. As part of the application, you will need to tick the relevant box in the Funding section of the EMBA application form, upload a Financial Need Assessment Form to your EMBA application and upload a scholarship supporting essay to your EMBA application. Your complete programme application and your scholarship application documents must be submitted by 11 September 2017 for the January 2018 cohort in order to be considered for these scholarships.

Oxford Alumni Scholarships

One Oxford University Alumni Scholarship is available at each intake of the EMBA programme. Candidates who have completed a degree-bearing programme at the University of Oxford are eligible for this scholarship.  You do not need to submit an additional application; we will use the qualifications details you supply in the EMBA application form to determine eligibility.

The scholarship covers 50% of the tuition portion of the programme fee.

Scholarships will be awarded based upon prior academic performance, the breadth and depth of work experience, and interpersonal and leadership skills demonstrated in your EMBA application form.

Your complete programme application must be submitted by 11 September 2017 for the January 2018 cohort in order to be considered for this scholarship.

University of Oxford & Oxford College scholarships

Candidates applying to the September intake of the EMBA programme are eligible for consideration for University and college scholarships. These are advertised through the University's Fees, funding and scholarship search which includes awards worth over £1000. The vast majority of Oxford scholarships are awarded to applicants who submit their complete course application by the January EMBA application deadline.
