The CV and transcripts submitted with the programme application may also be used when assessing scholarship suitability, however we recommend that any information you feel is important for scholarship assessment is highlighted within the scholarship statement. Candidates are also encouraged to provide context where necessary; for example if success has been achieved through individual determination, ambition or motivation.

Please note that the scholarship supporting statement is not used during the admissions process.

Linbury Scholarships

Three scholarships of £55,000 to be used towards the tuition fee, plus a funded programme of co-curricular activities for Linbury Scholars, are available across the Saïd Business School MBA and Executive MBA programmes.

Candidates must be ordinarily resident in the UK, and must demonstrate a long-term commitment to the arts, heritage or cultural sectors by articulating the intention to pursue a career in these fields in the UK post the MBA/EMBA programme. In addition, a minimum of two years’ experience in an arts, heritage or cultural sector organisation is desirable.

In order to be considered, candidates must be applying to the September intake of the EMBA programme and a complete EMBA application must be submitted by 09 April 2018. Candidates shortlisted for an admissions interview will be contacted and asked to submit an additional scholarship essay in order to demonstrate suitability for the scholarship.
