Generally, each module is delivered over four days, from Tuesday to Friday. Module 1 includes an induction 'gateway' of two days, and runs Monday-Saturday, and Module 8 includes a consolidation 'capstone' of one day, and runs Monday to Friday.
The MSc is purposely designed in this modular format to allow participants to combine work and study, and all modules at Oxford must be attended in full. Outside of modules you should allow for at least 10 hours per week of study including reading, writing assessed assignments and a dissertation, and writing formative assignments.
The total cost of the programme is approximately £39,990.00* which is made up of:
- Tuition fees for the entire programme - £36,880
- An annual college membership fee - confirmed as £1,556 in year one. (*College membership fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 4% per year).
In addition to personal expenses incurred, participants are expected to:
Pay for travel to and from each of the 8 4-day modules in Oxford
Pay for accommodation for each module in Oxford
Pay for core texts outside of supplied module reading (1-2 texts per module, total approx. £500)
The University requires all students to provide a Financial Declaration containing evidence that they have the funds to complete their studies. This is required at the point of acceptance to the programme, although the fees are collected in instalments. Further instructions will be sent to you with your letter of admission.
A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the programme fees, £6,013 is required on acceptance of a place on the programme.
Following payment of the deposit candidates will be invoiced for the first year fee payment 50% of the total fees (£20,042**) 8 weeks before the start of the programme with payment due before the start of the first module. Candidates admitted to the programme less than 8 weeks before the start of the course will be invoiced for the first year fees and deposit together (£26,055) upon admission to the programme.
Candidates will be invoiced for the second year fees, approximately £14,030** (35% of the total fees) on 1st June 2019 and with payment due within 30 days.
