Oxford Executive MBA
The Oxford Executive MBA programme has an international focus at its heart. Saïd Business School faculty conduct research into organisations across the world and the core curriculum of the programme harnesses this international reach and also offers you the chance to join faculty in their fields of expertise, studying modules in China, India, South Africa and California’s Silicon Valley.
Two core modules and at least two elective modules take place in key global markets and centres of expertise. These modules combine intensive study with visits to companies, group presentations and lectures from faculty, government or industry leaders.
Core modules in India and China are led by senior faculty who regularly conduct research in these vibrant BRIC economies and provide students with exposure to some of the key ideas shaping globalisation. International study at a glance:
Global Rules of the Game allows you to examine the key issues in running organisations and managing business processes in India. This module takes place in the first year of study and is hosted in either Bangalore or Mumbai.
The Business in Emerging Markets module focuses on how competitive advantage is shaped in key economies such as China, the implications this competition has for international business, and the tools needed to grow businesses in this challenging environment. This module takes place in the second year of study and in 2013 was hosted in Shanghai and Hangzhou.
The Entrepreneurial Finance elective module takes place in the heart of Silicon Valley, an essential module for anyone with an entrepreneurial interest.
The Inclusive Business in Africa module is held in Cape Town each year and helps participants to explore how innovation, inclusivity and social responsiveness can be used to address the reality of doing business in emerging markets.
