Oxford Diploma in Strategy and Innovation
Teaching and assessment
Participants must be in Oxford for every module and are required to attend all teaching sessions. During each module tuition takes place from Wednesday morning until Saturday. Exact teaching hours vary per module. For the expected module dates, please refer to the ‘How to apply page’. All tuition is held at Saïd Business School.
It is essential that participants read the pre-course materials prior to the programme start date and allocate a few hours each week for studying, preparing for examinations and familiarising themselves with the course content in between the modules. It is a fundamental principle of the Oxford educational system that participants engage in individual reading and study in order to broaden and deepen their knowledge.
The diploma is assessed with the academic rigour that you would expect of a Masters level programme at the University of Oxford. Modules one, two and three are each assessed by a written examination. Module four is assessed by a written assignment. Participants must pass all examinations and the assignment in order to be awarded the diploma. Participants who successfully complete all elements of the diploma are offered the opportunity to receive their qualification award at a traditional Oxford University ceremony.
