Millman - Centre for Corporate Reputation Doctoral Scholarship

About

New College’s Millman Foundation and Saïd Business School’s Centre for Corporate Reputation together offer one doctoral scholarship for four years.

The scholarship will cover the programme fee, a research expense budget plus an annual stipend at the standard Economic and Social Research Council rate (currently £14,777 for the 2018-19 academic year).

The holder of the scholarship will participate in the Saïd Business School's DPhil in Management Studies programme and be a member of both the Centre for Corporate Reputation and New College. He or she will be expected to have an excellent academic track-record, with a Masters-level qualification in business or the social sciences. The student will develop research on the relationship between strategy and how firms create, sustain, and/or restore their reputations, normally under the co-supervision of Professor Richard Whittington and other faculty members as appropriate. They will join two existing doctoral students researching strategic reputation and communication.

The Centre for Corporate Reputation is a well-established research centre with strong links to a network of international scholars and New College is a lively and historic community of scholars from many disciplines.
