After completing my final assignment in the Oxford Executive Diploma in Global Business programme, writing about Oxford and everything that encompasses the university's dynamic feels both nostalgic and exciting about the future.
With more than 900 years, The University of Oxford look toward the future with solid foundations. That was one of the reasons why I always dreamed of studying at what I consider to be the best University in the world.
Achieving this dream, however, was not easy to accomplish. It required years of relentless hard work, unwavering perseverance, and countless sacrifices. From long hours spent studying to overcoming self-doubt and financial challenges, every step of the journey demanded resilience and determination. Balancing work, personal life with a newborn daughter, and academic aspirations was often overwhelming, but the goal of studying at Oxford kept me focused and driven. I was a postgraduate student in Global Business, class of 2024. Surrounded by classmates and professors who are highly competent, intelligent, open-minded, and globally aware, the entire year of 2024 was driven by the desire to learn and grow.
The atmosphere in Oxford is truly unique. Walking through its cobbled streets, surrounded by historic buildings and libraries brimming with knowledge, makes every moment of study feel special. Tradition and modernity coexist harmoniously, creating the perfect setting for both academic and personal growth.
Looking back, I feel a deep sense of pride and gratitude for everything I experienced at Oxford.
Throughout the course, I was constantly challenged to step out of my comfort zone and think critically. Classroom debates, group projects, and practical experiences provided valuable insights that I will undoubtedly carry with me into my professional career. Oxford also taught me about resilience and adaptability. The intense academic workload, combined with the city's rich cultural and social offerings, required organisation, discipline, and unwavering dedication. It reinforced the value of persistence and the importance of embracing challenges with a positive mindset.
I cannot fail to mention the friendships I built along the way. I met people from different nationalities, each with inspiring life stories, enriching my experience and broadening my perspective on the world but also an incredible network of connections and unforgettable memories. Looking back, I feel a deep sense of pride and gratitude for everything I experienced at Oxford. I know this experience will be a turning point in my life and career.
The University of Oxford is not just a place of learning but a space for personal and professional transformation.
