Charlie Curtis and Vicki Herrington have both spent many years at the centre of systems change across a number of commercial, public and private sectors and industries. Putting it simply systems change means dealing with the reality of the complexity of the problems that we are surrounded by.
And here at Saïd Business School they are sharing their knowledge and expertise to create the leadership that is needed to deliver that change.
In this episode of Oxford Tea Talks they unpack the internal and external work that leaders need to do to prepare themselves to lead beyond the boundaries of their institutional mindsets and beyond the boundaries of their organisations.
Charlie is an Associate Fellow and entrepreneurship expert here at Saïd Business School. He teaches innovation and systems change on a variety of Executive Education programmes.
Vicki Herrington has been associated with Saïd Business School for many years both as an alumna on the Oxford Executive MBA and as Emeritus Head Tutor on the Oxford Strategic Innovation Programme. She is currently the Director of Knowledge at the Australian Institute of Police Management providing leadership development for public safety leaders across Australia and New Zealand and regionally.
Oxford Tea Talks is a conversation series where you get to listen to new ideas and cutting edge research, and also gain fresh perspectives on the thorny issues businesses and business leaders are facing today. Each episode pairs two people - a mix of faculty, associate fellows and thought leaders from Saïd Business School and the University of Oxford - to engage in a dynamic discussion over a cup of tea.
