Oxford Saïd’s fourth Giving Day will take place on 28 June 2022.

The Oxford Saïd community will come together for its fourth annual Giving Day on the 28 June 2022 for a 36-hour community fundraising marathon.

This year, Giving Day is raising funds to support the newly launched Rewley Fund, which powers the Rewley Scholarship programme. Rewley Scholarships are alumni-funded and enable the School to boost diversity and attract the most talented candidates to Oxford Saïd by rewarding excellence.

Tom Childs, Associate Director of Fundraising said:

‘The Rewley Fund is a really exciting way for our community to make a tangible difference to the lives of future Oxford Saïd students. It’s named in tribute to the 13th-Century Rewley Abbey, a place of learning that stood on Saïd Business School’s grounds, so brings our alumni giving home too.

Scholarships ensure that the School continues to attract the best and brightest candidates, but they’re also a way for our community to widen access and ensure that future students can benefit from the education, experience, and networking opportunities that the School offers. Our alumni can make a meaningful impact by giving back through the Rewley Fund.’

Current MBA 2021 student and recipient of the AAF scholarship, Taanya Khare reflected on what alumni funding has enabled her to achieve:

‘The Alumni Annual Fund scholarship supported me in taking a leap of faith and studying at one of the world's best universities. It has led me to an incredible platform to validate my purpose and belong to a community of brilliant individuals driven by passion and commitment.’

All donors will see their gifts acknowledged on the virtual Donor Wall on the Giving Day website and in the annual Impact Report. Additional recognition is available for gifts over £125, or recurring gifts of at least £10 per month, on the Giving Day Roll of Honour which is displayed in the School.

With a range of match-challenges available to unlock over the 36 hours, gifts on Giving Day go even further too.

Visit the Giving Day website throughout June to keep up with our progress, or make a donation.
