Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Academic Director of the Entrepreneurship Centre has been honoured with this year’s Educational Impact Award.
The award from the Strategic Management Society (SMS), recognises excellence in contributing to the teaching mission in strategic management and was been awarded to Pinar for her work on the Inspiring Female Founders series. Its aim is to inspire and equip future generations of entrepreneurs, particularly women, to tackle pressing challenges in the world through innovation. The series has featured Louise Hill, founder of GoHenry, Anne Boden, Founder of Starling Bank and many more inspirational female-led stories of success.
Presented at a ceremony in her hometown of Istanbul, Pinar was able to be joined by her mother Seval Ozcan for the celebration, which made the occasion particularly special for her.
