Oxford Saïd partners with The AI Forward Alliance to deliver a programme tackling gender inequality

Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford has become the academic partner of The AI Forward Alliance (TAIFA).

Led by Technovation and UNICEF, TAIFA unites over a dozen leaders from technology, government, and education to equip young women with the skills and opportunities necessary to drive AI innovation and address complex challenges responsibly. As the world’s only global initiative at the intersection of AI and gender, TAIFA expands access to technology education for millions of girls and young women worldwide, positioning them to contribute to significant economic growth through their innovations and leadership.

Oxford Saïd is proud to work alongside Technovation and UNICEF to deliver this exciting new programme and to support women and girls to excel in entrepreneurship and innovation.

This partnership will support the development, implementation, and certification of curriculum to be used in online programmes for young female leaders who are early in their careers, specifically those between ages 18 to 25. The 12-hour asynchronous programme will reflect the themes of leadership, entrepreneurship and technology and has been approved for an initial three-year period. Participants will be able to access this world class curriculum at no cost and will receive a certificate from Oxford Saïd. This work will support TAIFA's mission of engaging in joint initiatives and programmes that empower girls and young women in technology entrepreneurship.

Applications to the programme are due to open in the autumn of 2025. Access will be offered to a community of over 50,000 young women from across the TAIFA ecosystem including Generation Unlimited and Grameen Foundation’s alumnae.
