Oxford MBA rises to seventh in Bloomberg BusinessWeek rankings

Our Oxford MBA has placed seventh in Europe in the Bloomberg BusinessWeek 2024-2025 rankings, up from tenth in 2023.

This achievement is our highest Bloomberg European Schools MBA ranking to date, and we also saw an increase in every category on our previous year’s performance, most notably, rising to sixth place for Entrepreneurship and receiving our highest score of 86.0 (out of 100) for Learning.

This ranking considers the whole student journey, using surveys of current students, recent alumni, and employers that recruit MBAs (alongside data provided by schools). It evaluates programmes in the areas of compensation, learning, networking, and entrepreneurship.   

This ranking result is particularly positive for Oxford Saïd as it takes in a holistic range of perspectives, from our current students to their potential employers. We are incredibly grateful for all of those who have shared their experiences with Bloomberg, and to all our students, staff and faculty who continue to keep Oxford Saïd at the forefront of the MBAs available across the globe.

Those who were surveyed by Bloomberg on which aspects of the programme set it apart from others, showed that the ‘diversity and overall drive toward creating large-scale social impact’ were the most significant, in addition to the ‘global mindset it helps you establish.’  

It is fantastic to see such large numbers of our cohorts providing positive feedback on the time spent studying for their MBAs with us and reporting the incredible successes that many go on to achieve upon graduation. This ranking is a testament to the incredible dedication of those students and the unique offer of an innovative, impact driven and future-focused business school like ours, anchored within a unique 900-year-old cultural institution like Oxford.

Results concerning ‘campus atmosphere’ highlighted the School's diversity, including LGBTQ+ students reporting equality of opportunity in the classroom, and inclusivity in social activities. Commenting on the best thing about the Oxford MBA, one respondent commented: ‘The diversity of each cohort and the extremely supportive atmosphere created.’
