It is with great regret that we have made the decision to cancel the Oxford Africa Business Forum
In light of the continuing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), a number of speakers and delegates to the Oxford Africa Business Forum have made the difficult decision to cancel their attendance at the event. We understand the impact that the coronavirus is having on people’s ability to travel, as well as the need to consider potential risks to the health and wellbeing of those around us.
Our decision to cancel the Africa Business Forum is not related to the current health situation in Oxford. Rather, it is informed by the impact the virus has had on speakers and delegates’ ability to travel to the Forum, as many make the journey from Africa and abroad. Without a rich and diverse group of speakers, engaging with a passionate and significant audience, we do not believe that we would be able to deliver this year’s Africa Forum to our usual standard. We will, however, continue to work on and redefine some of the insights already gained from the theme of ‘The Youth of Africa’. We look forward to hosting you at the 2021 Oxford Africa Business Forum. The new date for 2021 will be published soon.
