Manos Kapterian has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer at Oxford Saïd and will oversee all school operations and services.
He will be taking up the role on 3 May following a more than 20-year career at Pearson, one of the world’s leading learning companies creating digital learning experiences in almost 200 countries. He will be working closely with our new Dean, Soumitra Dutta who joins the school in June, as part of his leadership team, helping to shape and deliver the School’s strategy. Overseeing all School operations and services, Manos will also be a member of the School Board.

Manos’ time at Pearson saw him hold senior commercial, operational and transformation roles working in the UK and Internationally across the examination and publishing sides of the business. In 2018, Manos was appointed a Non-Executive Director at the Chartered Institute of Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) to support the organisation in its educational aims and future growth. He is also Chair of the Membership Committee. He is passionate about the power of education and life-long learning in unlocking personal and professional growth.
Earlier in his career, Manos worked in Learning and Development roles in the travel and not-for-profit sectors. He holds an MBA, is a Fellow at the Chartered Management Institute and lives with his wife and son in London.
