The scholarships will be based at Green Templeton College and cover fees and living expenses
The University of Oxford in partnership with the Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo announces the establishment of the Oxford-Intesa Sanpaolo MBA Scholarships. Students awarded these scholarships will be based at Green Templeton College.
Only women applying for the 1-year Oxford MBA programme at Saïd Business School will be eligible for these scholarships which will cover tuition, college fees and living expenses of at least £15,000. Scholars may also be eligible for an additional allowance to help with the cost of childcare during their studies.
Recruiting around 70 MBA students annually, Green Templeton has more Saïd Business School students than any other college and has been particularly successful in attracting women; 56% of Green Templeton students in 2018 were female compared with 43% across all the other graduate colleges in the University.
These scholarships are the most recent outcome of the strategic partnership between the University and Intesa Sanpaolo, which was established in 2017. Other areas of collaboration have included a research fellowship at Oxford Saïd’s Centre for Corporate Reputation and the funding of events such as the recent Last Supper in Pompeii exhibition at the Ashmolean museum.
