EQUIS awards us five years’ reaccreditation, with special mention of our global positioning

Oxford Saïd has been awarded five years’ reaccreditation by the prestigious, internationally-recognised EQUIS - a mark of the quality across the School's work.

EQUIS is a comprehensive quality review system developed by the European Federation for Management Development for business and management schools across the world. Its rigorous peer-review process signals a school’s overall quality, viability and self-improvement commitment to students, employers and academic partners worldwide. 
 
Following the submission of a Self-Assessment Report covering all aspects of the School’s activity, the process culminates in a peer review visit, which saw the review team interview 80 colleagues, students, corporate connections and alumni in February 2024. Should they be accredited, for either three or five years, schools work towards the delivery of a set of development goals, linking back to the feedback provided by the Peer Review Team.

The process ensures a rigorous quality improvement process, benchmarking schools against a set of international standards relating to all aspects of its mission and activities, but with a special emphasis on internationalisation, ethics, responsibility and sustainability and corporate connections. 
 
In the School’s reaccreditation,  the following areas were highlighted:

  • the strong international positioning of the School
  • the high quality and international diversity of the research and student community; and
  • the high calibre of the professional staff teams across the School.
