Oxford Executive Diploma in Financial Strategy alumnus Ali Abtahi has received the Worshipful Company of International Bankers (WCIB) Lombard Prize.
The Lombard Prize is awarded for the best dissertation or extended piece of written work, and was received by Ali during an awards ceremony at the Mansion House in London yesterday, which was attended by senior figures within the City of London, including the Lord Mayor and Sheriffs.
The WCIB Lombard Prize was initiated by banker Alan Moore CBE in the early 1990's when he was Chairman of the Lombard Association, to reward an outstanding student at the City University's (now the Bayes Business School) MBA Programme. In 2009, the the prize was extended to include affiliated universities.
