Alumni Toqeer Sajid finalist at the Multicultural Business & Community Champion Awards

Oxford Saïd alumni, Toqeer Sajid, a dynamic entrepreneur from Small Heath, Birmingham, has been named as a finalist in the prestigious MBCC awards.

This nomination, in the Rising Star category, comes as a recognition of Toqeer's inspiring journey from a challenging environment to becoming a successful business leader and a beacon of hope for today’s youth.

Growing up in Small Heath, where many of his peers were drawn into drugs and crime, Toqeer faced significant obstacles. Despite these challenges, he has transformed his life and career, proving that it is possible to achieve success through hard work and determination. His story is a powerful testament to the potential within every individual, regardless of their background.

Toqeer graduated from our Oxford Executive Finance Programme, which provides a foundation in executive finance and strategic decision-making. 

My goal is to show the youth of today that a boy from Small Heath can make it free from limiting beliefs. I want to inspire the next generation to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with passion and integrity.
