Rita Mota has been appointed as Intesa Sanpaolo Research Fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation.
Rita completed her PhD in Law at King's College, London. Her research focuses on the interaction between international investment and human rights, with a focus on corporate social responsibility and investor-State dispute settlement. Her recent work addresses how business in general, and financial institutions in particular, may contribute to the development of a more sustainable investment environment.
In her free time, Rita also works for the Global Legal Action Network (GLAN), a non-profit organisation made up of lawyers and investigative journalists which aims to use law innovatively to promote human rights. She is currently involved in projects related to climate change, forced labour and areas of occupation.
