HR Advisor

Grade 5: £25,482 - £30,395 with discretionary range to £33,199 per annum

6 month fixed term contract

We are recruiting an HR Advisor to join the HR Operations team on a 6-month contract. This post will be based at our central Oxford site as well as our Egrove Park site in Kennington, Oxford. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations and Wellbeing, this is an exciting opportunity that would suit someone who enjoys working in a service orientated HR environment.

Your main responsibilities will include the provision of sound HR advice and guidance on all University policies and procedures on relevant HR issues, provide support and information through the employment lifecycle for employees, as well as managing HR operational processes from flexible working requests to redundancy procedures.

To be successful at shortlisting you will have previous HR experience coupled with a high customer service ethic and a pragmatic approach to your work. You will possess demonstrable experience of employee relations and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships, with external and internal stakeholders. Strong self-management, with good prioritising and organisational skills will also be key.
