The Summit 2017 took place at Oxford Saïd Business School on 15 March, 2017. The event brought together students, faculty, tutors and alumni to reflect, learn and share on this year's topic: The Future of Work.

The keynote speaker, Mr Thorben Albrecht, German Permanent State Secretary for Labour and Social Affairs, shared his insights from the world of state and European politics on a variety of future of work related public policy and social issues.

The keynote address was followed by six excellent MBA GOTO teams presenting on a variety of future of work topics in a bid to win a cash prize and the coveted GOTO: Future of Work trophy, donated by the Summit's sponsor, Ricoh Europe Group.

The competition was fierce and the excellent work of all teams was recognised by a special commendation awarded by the Dean, Professor Peter Tufano. After careful deliberation, special guest and sponsor Phil Keoghan, Ricoh UK & Ireland Chief Executive Officer, announced MBA Team 40 as winners of the competition overall. Our heartiest congratulations to the team; Gillian Benjamin, Allegra Day, Thomas Meinke, Pranay Meshram, Danilo Pusceddu & Mike Zhang. Their winning presentation was entitled An Aging Population and its Impact on The Future of Work and looked at how we might craft a future working life for UK’s highly skilled older people.
