Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship
Co-curricular offerings
The Skoll Centre maintains a vibrant mix of co-curricular activities for the MBA community interested in social entrepreneurship.
Social entrepreneurship lecture series
Leading social entrepreneurs from around the world are invited to Saïd Business School throughout the year to speak openly about their innovations and experiences.
Social Impact Oxford Business Network (SI-OBN)
The SI-OBN is the focus of student activity on the ecosystem surrounding social entrepreneurship. Almost 50% of MBAs have participated in the network. The Skoll Centre works closely with the SI-OBN to support the MBA class (and students across the University) in building a robust community. Find out more about the OBN networks.
MBA project support
If you are interested in focusing your entrepreneurship project or strategic consulting project on social innovation, the Centre connects you with social enterprises and provides assistance throughout your work.
Careers support
Make use of the Skoll Centre’s status as a worldwide hub for social entrepreneurs as you plan your progression beyond the MBA. The Centre provides careers guidance, assists students to connect with key individuals and organisations in the social innovation sector, and offers expert advice on setting up a social enterprise.
Skoll World Forum
Each year up to 20 MBA students are selected to attend the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship. The Forum is the world's premier event for social entrepreneurs, bringing together key actors in the business, policy, academic, and social space to accelerate impact. While spaces are limited, it is an unparalleled opportunity to engage with the leading entrepreneurs of today and tomorrow.
